If I saw something my classmates at school would do, I wished the same for myself. Sadly, I did not achieve everything I saw because I could not achieve them yet. But even if I could not do what I wanted, those instances inspired me to be better. One of the dreams I did not let go of was experiencing ballet. This dance has been part of my life even when I was a kid. Though I did not reach it when I was a child, I did afford a ballet fitness workout when I became an adult.

I was an overweight woman years ago, and it is what inspired me to push for a ballet fitness class. Some people told me I would not make it, but ballet became my way to fitness. This activity is what my body accepted when diet and exercise did not work. But even if ballet was not my last option to get the body I wanted, I still pushed hard to make every session worth it.

 

3. I WANTED TO LEARN NEW BALLET MOVEMENTS

Attending a ballet class in Singapore taught me new ballet movements. With this, I pushed for it. Aside from the ones I see on the internet, I can experience ballet and learn new things. I do not need to rely on the videos I saw because I am in a class. The movements I learnt made me appreciate ballet more than before.

4. I WANTED TO TRAIN MY BRAIN TO BE SHARP

Ballet is not all about dancing and moving. And it is what I realised when I was still attending ballet sessions. It makes my brain sharp in anything I do, especially if actions are needed. I can focus more and avoid distractions when I do something necessary.

I had many reasons to enrol in ballet classes, and these four are the ones I will never forget. These inspired me to do better and ensure that I could keep up with the movements taught by our instructor. I could discipline myself better, even if I am already an adult.
