I found the most interesting blog today –I think everyone needs to know about it. The name is ‘Bacci Bogie’s Bytes – Life Lessons from a Canine’– yes, a dog; one of the cutest dogs I have ever seen. He is a Maltese which is a breed belonging to the toy family of dogs.
Maltese
This is a breed of dog that historically originates or derived from Malta, however recently they are thought to have developed in the south-central part of Europe from sptiz-type dogs. They are gentle-mannered as well as affectionate, eager, and sprightly in action. Despite the size, they possess the vigor needed to be the most satisfactory companion. Features include:
- Life expectancy – 12-15 years
- Origin in the Mediterranean Basin
- Docile, fearless, affectionate, easygoing
- Intelligent, lively, responsive, active
- Playful, sweet-tempered, and gentle
- Height: males 8-10 inches; females 8-9 inches
- Weight: males 6.6-8.8 lbs.; females 6.6-8.8 lbs
Bacci’s Book
The question you are probably thinking is how did this Maltese become a canine blogger? He is quite lucky because his owner Sandra Glosser is a bit of a writer after enjoying a 30-year career as a motivational trainer/speaker with proficiency in law enforcement training. ‘My Name is Bacci Bogie: Frequent Flyer Extraordinaire’ tells the stories in a book of the travels and adventures they have shared together – told from, of course, the point of view of this adorable, lively Maltese dog. This dog has been a travel companion for over 500,000 air miles and is very popular on tours for the book with many wanting his paw autograph – and he amuses all with his great and funny tricks.
Blogger
So, these blog posts are a spinoff from their book, reflecting Bacci’s observations and opinions on the humans around him and that he has met. These posts are:
- Humorous
- Motivational
- Inspirational
