Beach is one of the most romantic places to have a date. If you ask ten people for their favorite date ideas, at least six to seven of them will involve a beach.
So if you desperately need to arrange a date within a short time. Maybe it is your anniversary or maybe it was your anniversary and you need to make up for forgetting it. Or, you just want to have a romantic time with your lover. A beach date can never go wrong. Unless, of course, something unforeseen happens.
Anyway, let’s move on to the planning part of the date:
1. First and foremost, you need to know exactly where you want to go. And, how you are going to get there. If it is close by, you can walk or maybe use bikes to get there. Biking can be a romantic activity that you two can do together. Since this is a date and not a vacation. A beach that will take hours to reach is not ideal. At the most, two to three hours should be the maximum time that it takes to get there.
2. Next, you need to figure out the time of the date. Sunsets and sunrises are the best times to have a romantic time on the beach. You can even get the exact timings if you do a Google search. Check the weather as well.
3. Food. Any date is incomplete without delicious food to complement it. You get extra points for effort if you pack a picnic basket. You can pack fruits, sandwiches, cheese and crackers, cookies, or even wine if you can.
4. The activities should also be given some thought. You can choose to just lay on the beach and listen to music with them. Both of you can spend the time watching the waves while eating or drinking. Or, you can go swimming as well. You should wear one of your men’s spandex swimsuits just to be prepared to swim should you want to.
Before leaving, some other things also need to be taken care of as well. You must check the rules and regulations of the beach that you are visiting. Sometimes, they have strict rules about timings, attire, and the food allowed. It is always better to be sure. You do not want your date to be interrupted, right?
