At the Tokyo’s Sunshine Aquarium, penguins are getting a taste of what flying might be like. There is an aquarium which is now introducing a special penguin exhibition that involves letting the penguins swim in the “Sunshine Aqua Ring“, which is usually reserved for the sea lions, for one hour each evening. The Sunshine Aquarium is a small aquarium located on the roof of a nine-story building in Tokyo’s Sunshine City. On the roof, the open-air “Aqua Ring” is raised about 7.5 feet off the ground, giving visitors an opportunity to view sea lions, and now penguins, swimming from underneath. The “flying penguin” exhibition currently runs from 6:30 and 7:30 PM, and it is expected to run through September 2, 2012. Check it out, enjoy!
