Here are the beautiful Light Installations by Bruce Munro at Pennsylvania’s Longwood Gardens. It marks the artist’s first large-scale solo exhibition. His amazing artwork blends within the landscaped grounds and old greenhouses. The “Forest of Light” and “Field of Light” imitate fields of dandelions as they spread across the forest floor and line the banks of Longwood’s pond.
The forest is decorated with about 20,000 LED-topped stems, while 7,000 additional stems set the pond glowing. The patches of LED flowers blossom at night. Munro’s “Water Towers” feature shining glass bottles loaded up into columns. The 69 towers are set up in a field to make a maze of rising forms that change color in harmonization with music. The Inside installations with candles, chandeliers made up of over 100 glass balls, and a sparkling shower of LED dew drops created an amazing landscape.
