In January 2008, after 7 years on the Rye foreshore, Sand Sculpting Australia relocated to an exciting new venue – the Frankston Waterfront. With Frankston beach, the pier and Kananook Creek as a backdrop, the area was transformed as 3,500 tons of sand was carved into scenes from favorite childhood ‘Fairytales & Fables’ from around the world.  In the following summers, Sand Sculpting Australia brought ‘Din story’ and ‘Great Moments in History’ to the Waterfront for a 4 month period. They are currently preparing their newest and biggest event yet, ‘Creepy Crawlies’. The exhibition will be open to the public until April, 2011.
